Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping

Each luminaire is handcrafted in-house, with varying lead times. The estimated lead time, from order placement to shipment, is displayed on each product page. When your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email that will include tracking information. We ship from Boston, Massachusetts. You may also email info@kadns.co to request an update.

Kādns uses UPS for all domestic shipments. For orders over $5,000, Kādns offers free shipping.

Return

We accept returns for refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery, provided the items are in new, uninstalled condition and in their original packaging. Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to the products during return shipment until the items are delivered. If a return is authorized and accepted, the customer will receive a refund for the purchase price minus a restocking fee. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Products that show signs of wear, installation, or alterations are not eligible for return.Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund.


Custom orders are non-refundable, and all sales are final.

Defective or damaged items due to shipping are eligible for exchange within 30 days of delivery, for the same product only. The customer must note the damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) and notify the driver. If a paper copy of the BOL is unavailable, the customer must report the damage directly to the driver to initiate the claims process.

For international returns, prepaid shipping labels are not provided. The customer is responsible for all return shipping and handling fees.

Warranty

You have up to 24 hours to change your order without any fees to change or cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund.


We offer a One-Year Limited Warranty on our products, designed to ensure they last and minimize waste. If a product fails due to manufacturing defects or workmanship errors, we will gladly repair or replace it upon inspection. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the item for warranty service.

This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by mishandling, incorrect installation, or modification
Cosmetic wear, natural variations in materials
Damage from improper cleaning or exposure to weather or corrosive elements
Normal wear and tear, including weather-related damage
Fire, flood, lightning, earthquakes, or other acts of nature
Damage reported more than 30 days after delivery
Consequential or incidental damages
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Improper installation or use outside of specified conditions

To be eligible for a warranty claim, products must have been purchased directly from Kadns.co or our sales agent and located within the continental U.S. A valid proof of purchase is required. All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Repair
We offer replacement parts for our lighting. Please contact us at info@kadns.co and we will provide you with a quote and lead time for shipment to your preferred location. Replacement parts, including shipping, are not eligible for discount.
